Night Ranger Performing Sentimental Street Live In Concert

Here's a stat that amazed me. With all the success Night Ranger had during the early to mid-80's, they only had two top ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and only three top ten hits on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts. Sentimental Street and Sister Christian were the Hot 100 hits, and Don't Tell Me You Love Me was the other rock hit. Sentimental Street peaked at #8 on the Hot 100 and #3 on the Mainstream Rock charts back in 1985.

Like Sister Christian, Sentimental Street was another one of the rock ballads that Night Ranger became known for despite the band's desire to be considered a hard rock band. They really were a victim of their success. They wanted to release harder-edged songs, but radio was only interested in their ballads. Personally, I liked both their ballads and their harder stuff. Here they are performing Sentimental Street live in concert. Enjoy!
